Motorola MOTONAV TN30 4.3-Inch Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator
Would not let me change rating. The monitor is difficult to see in regular lighting and you can not change the contrast to be able to see the screen during the day. It works well at night as the night display is clear. The handsfree blue tooth works flawlessly but the sound is terrible for a Motorola phone company product. I sent the unit back and got a full refund. I would give this 1 star.

Borrowed this from a friend…otherwise it would be back in the box and going back to the store. We knew our route, but the GPS kept insisting that we turn around for the first 4 hours of our trip. The arrival time was 9 hours too late from the beginning, and never changed until I reset the route. GPS couldn’t find a signal, though I was in a major metropolitan area. Finally, the GPS got a mind of it’s own and thought we were 13 miles into our return trip, though we were sitting in a driveway. It froze like that and had to be manually reset 12 times before it would unfreeze. It still couldn’t find a GPS signal. Good thing I had maps in the car, as we really needed the unit for the return trip, but it wouldn’t work. Very disappointed, but am finding that in most Motorola products these days.

The Motorola TN30 is the best Portable GPS Navigator I have ever used. The battery last a really long time when its not on the charger. The bluetooth is perfect to use. The screen is very clear 4.3 inch. The turn by turn voice is load and clear or you can adjust it to a lower sound level. The touch screen works accurately and easy. The TN30 displays free way speeds and your speed. The TN30 will give you altitude levels you are driving in. The maps are perfectly accurate, and easy to see. The settings are easy to understand. The motorola TN30 is the best.

I am warning you all who is thinking about getting any Motorola product. I was a loyal customer of Motorola for years till I get this junk. I got this for under $70 and I still think that is too much for this device. Shame on Motorola and other customer reviews that rated this product more than one star(zero would be much better). I should have listen the critics. BIG MISTAKE. There is more help and support for PC mouse out there…than for this junk.

PROS:
- Great Sticky Suction cup for the window.
- Sleek design.
CONS:
- Ignores jughandles (this is New Jersey’s PRIMARY way of making turns)
- Gargled speech
- Unable to update software
- Software had many bugs
I picked this up because it seems to have all the features you’d want in a GPS. But it turns out the unit is full of bugs, ignores streets and jughandles and wants to take you WAAAAAAAAY out of the way to get to places. Sorry Motorola, stick to phones and walkie talkies….
